Republican Representative for Pennsylvania, Scott Perry, had his phone seized by the FBI on Tuesday, while with his family. In a statement from Rep. Perry, he said "This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress." This comes just one day after the FBI raided Trump's home in Florida, and took boxes of documents, as well as breaking into the former President's safe.
The left has gone too far. They are trying to get rid of all of their political opponents, using law enforcement to do it. Perry also said "My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government's business." It is clear that the leftist elites are trying to silence the right, so that there will be no political oppositions in elections. They are most likely going to use the political information on Perry's phone to combat his political strategies in their own campaigns.
Despite all the punches the left is taking, we must stay firm, but keep peace. Use words instead of violence. If we start going after people on the left that there is no evidence of crimes against, purely for political gain, it makes us no better than they are. The left wants us to fight back using violence, because then our party would never be able to win a political position again.
