Whole Foods CEO Speaks On The Current Work Ethic Of Our Youth

The CEO of Whole Foods, John Mackey, said this on the Reason podcast “Younger people aren’t quick to work because they want meaningful work". He also said  “You can’t expect to start with meaningful work. You’re going to have to earn it over time.”  John Mackey, along with many others can see the work ethic of our youth declining, because they think that not only they can rely on the government for money, but also that they are going to become rich from their first job. Now this might happen to some, but that is a very small percentage of the American population. Mackey also said this about the Socialist in our country while on the podcast  “Socialists are taking over. They’re marching through the institutions. They’re taking everything over. They’re taking over education. It looks like they’ve taken over a lot of corporations. It looks like they’ve taken over the military, and it’s just continuing.” Mackey has been a supporter of Capitalism for decades, and was even called a "right-wing hippie" in 2010.
